The wonders of Edamame!!!


So I had these with a teaspoon of olive oil, lite salt and pepper. YUMMY!!!! Edamame is a complete protein containing all the eseential Amino Acids our bodies need to efficiently burn fat. They are a great source of protein, fiber, essential fatty acids, and isoflavones (found only in Soy). It is an excellent food for weight loss as well. If you are looking for that miracle food to lose weight, try these soybeans. They retail (frozen) for about 3 bucks and they have more protein than a chicken breast! The fiber content is also high and if you eat a cup of these babies, you will have half of your necessary fiber for the day. Fiber is a superfood which moves fat out of the intestines and prevents it from absorbing into your body and sitting on your waist. Please try these cheap yet credible beans in place of meat every once in a while and you will see results!

  1. I saw some today at walmart and was just about to put it in the cart when my boyfriend said " What in the world is that get some green beans" *rolling my eyes* God its hard losing weight while someone else is trying to gain

  2. I love edimame as well. You can eat them like chips, and there are hadly any calories. Another way to eat them is with a little garlic or garlic salt. Fan-flippin-tastic. By the way......congratulations on your weight loss. You look wonderful.

  3. OMG!!! I LOVE these!
    They have this chicken Lean Cuisine meal with Edamame & noodles...That thing tastes so good!

    But, I had never thought to buy them like this. I'll definitely pick some up. Thanks for your suggestion.
